In 2008, I wandered into a yoga class at my local gym and found a stillness that has captivated me ever since. I believe yoga can help us connect authentically with ourselves and others, support our bodies and minds, and find that sweet spot of balance in our lives. It’s the practice I continually turn to for my physical, mental, and emotional health. Yoga brings me back home.

Despite still not reliably knowing my left from right, I graduated from RYT-200 yoga teacher training in 2014. That marked the starting point of my education in yoga, meditation, and awareness. I continue to learn from the many amazing teachers (in yoga and writing and life) who share their wisdom with me, and I am grateful for the opportunity to be a yoga tour guide and hold space for others.

In my classes, it’s always your practice. Expect laughter, freedom, a great playlist, and probably poetry.
