I have an MFA in creative nonfiction writing, and my publication credits include lifestyle articles and female-focused content for newspapers. As a freelance writer I enjoy telling people’s stories from female hockey players to farmers to fallen soldiers. The book nerd in me loves being a trustee on my city library board of directors. Our senior rescue dog loves that my husband and I are DINKS. My favourite people call me a cool aunt, and I love writing about aunthood.
Some past and current freelance clients: Explore, Hockey Alberta, TransAlta, St. Albert Gazette, Pipestone Flyer, and East Central Alberta Review.
